The 1991 Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly election was held on June 24, 1991, to elect members of the 11th Legislative Assembly of Tamil Nadu, India. This election was significant in the political landscape of the state, taking place shortly after the assassination of former Chief Minister Rajiv Gandhi, which had profound implications on voter sentiment.
