2017–18 Irani Cup

The 2017–18 Irani Cup was the 55th edition of the prestigious Indian domestic cricket tournament, contested between the previous season's Ranji Trophy champions and a Rest of India team. Held from March 14 to March 18, 2018, the match took place at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. Vidarbha, the Ranji Trophy champions, faced the Rest of India side, which included a mix of established players and emerging talents. Vidarbha won the contest by 10 wickets, marking their first Irani Cup triumph. The tournament is named after the Irani family, who contributed significantly to Indian cricket post-independence. The Irani Cup serves as a platform to showcase individual talent and is widely regarded as a significant event in Indian domestic cricket.
