2013 Women's Cricket World Cup

The 2013 ICC Women's Cricket World Cup was the 10th edition of the tournament, held from 2 to 22 February 2013 in India. Organized by the International Cricket Council, the World Cup featured eight teams: Australia, England, India, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa, Sri Lanka, and West Indies. This edition was notable for being hosted in India for the second time, following the 1997 tournament. India, as one of the co-hosts, aimed to capitalize on the growing popularity of women's cricket in the country. The tournament was contested in a round-robin format, culminating in the final at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, where Australia emerged victorious, securing their third consecutive title.
