15th Karnataka Assembly

The 15th Karnataka Legislative Assembly is the constitutional governing body of the state of Karnataka, India. Elected through the state assembly elections held in May 2018, it comprises 224 members representing various constituencies across the state. The Assembly plays a critical role in the legislative process, policy formulation, and governance of Karnataka. The political landscape of the 15th Assembly has been marked by a coalition government formed by the Indian National Congress and the Janata Dal (Secular), led by Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy. The Assembly convenes in Vidhana Soudha, Bengaluru, and is responsible for enacting laws, approving budgets, and addressing key issues affecting the state's development and welfare.
