150th Infantry

The 150th Infantry, also known as the 150th Indian Infantry Brigade, was a unit of the Indian Army primarily active during the period of World War II. Formed as part of India's colonial military structure, the brigade played a key role in various campaigns in Southeast Asia. The unit comprised primarily Indian soldiers and was integral to the British Indian Army's efforts in combating Japanese advances in the region. Distinguished by its resilience and adaptability, the 150th Infantry participated in significant battles, contributing to the broader Allied war effort. Post-independence, many of its traditions and legacies were absorbed into the reorganized Indian Army, reflecting the evolution of military identity in a newly sovereign nation.
