130th Baluchis

The 130th Baluchis, formally known as the 130th Baluch Regiment, was an infantry regiment of the British Indian Army, formed in the late 19th century. Established in 1857 during the tumultuous period of the Indian Rebellion, the regiment comprised primarily Baluchi soldiers hailing from the Baluchistan region. Renowned for their valour and skill in combat, the 130th Baluchis participated in numerous campaigns across the Indian subcontinent, notably during World War I and World War II. Following India's independence in 1947, the regiment was incorporated into the newly formed Indian Army, where it continued to uphold its legacy. The 130th Baluchis is recognized for its distinctive insignia and contributions to Indian military history.
