2010–11 I-League

The 2010–11 I-League, the premier professional football league in India, marked the fourth season since its rebranding from the National Football League. Organized by the All India Football Federation (AIFF), the season commenced on December 3, 2010, and concluded on May 29, 2011. Comprising 14 teams, the league operated on a double round-robin format, where each team played home and away matches against the others. The season was noted for its competitive nature, with strong performances from clubs such as Salgaocar SC and East Bengal FC. Salgaocar SC emerged as the league champions, securing their first title in the I-League's history. The campaign also witnessed a burgeoning interest in football across the nation, contributing to the sport's growth in India.
