2008 Chennai Open

The 2008 Chennai Open was a professional men's tennis tournament held in Chennai, India, from December 31, 2007, to January 6, 2008. Part of the ATP Tour 250 series, it marked the 13th edition of the event, which was inaugurated in 1997. The tournament took place at the SDAT Tennis Stadium and featured both singles and doubles competitions on outdoor hard courts. Notably, the singles draw included renowned players such as the defending champion Novak Djokovic, who went on to clinch the title again by defeating the former world No. 1, Carlos Moyá, in the final. The doubles event was won by the pair of Jonathan Marray and Jamie Murray, further establishing the Chennai Open as a significant stop in the annual tennis calendar in India.
