2016–17 Vijay Hazare Trophy

The 2016–17 Vijay Hazare Trophy was the 15th edition of the prestigious List A cricket tournament in India, named after the celebrated Indian cricketer Vijay Hazare. Organized by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), the tournament took place from February 25 to March 26, 2017. Featuring 27 teams representing various state and regional cricket associations, the competition adhered to a round-robin format followed by knockout rounds. The tournament highlighted India's domestic cricket landscape and served as a platform for emerging players. In an intense final held at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, Tamil Nadu secured the championship, defeating Bengal, thus claiming their first Vijay Hazare Trophy title.
