2014 Lusofonia Games

The 2014 Lusofonia Games, officially the 3rd Lusofonia Games, were held in Goa, India, from January 18 to January 29, 2014. Organized by the Conference of Lusophone Countries, the Games celebrated Portuguese-speaking nations through a multi-sport event featuring athletes from these member countries. The event aimed to enhance camaraderie and cultural exchange among Lusophone countries, including Brazil, Portugal, Mozambique, and several others. Goa, known for its Portuguese heritage, served as an apt host, showcasing a platform for approximately 1,500 athletes competing in various disciplines such as athletics, football, and swimming.
