2012 Hyderabad Biodiversity Conference

The 2012 Hyderabad Biodiversity Conference, officially known as the Eleventh Meeting of the Conference of the Parties (COP 11) to the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD), took place from October 8 to October 19, 2012. Held at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre in India, the conference convened representatives from 193 countries, including government officials, NGOs, and environmental experts, to address global biodiversity challenges. The primary focus was on the implementation of the Strategic Plan for Biodiversity 2011-2020 and the Aichi Biodiversity Targets.
