2004 Karnataka Legislative Assembly election

The 2004 Karnataka Legislative Assembly election was held on May 10, 2004, to elect members of the 13th Legislative Assembly of Karnataka, India. This election was significant as it marked the return to power of the Indian National Congress (INC) after a period of coalition government led by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Janata Dal (United).
