2014 Pro Kabaddi League season

The 2014 Pro Kabaddi League season marked the inaugural edition of India’s premier professional kabaddi league, which officially commenced on July 27, 2014, and concluded on September 1, 2014. Organized by Mashal Sports in collaboration with the Wrestling Federation of India, the league aimed to popularize kabaddi at a national and international level. Featuring eight franchises, including teams from major Indian cities such as Mumbai, Jaipur, and Bengaluru, the tournament adopted a unique format comprising a round-robin stage followed by playoffs.
