2015 Champions Tennis League

The 2015 Champions Tennis League (CTL) was the inaugural edition of a professional tennis league held in India, aimed at promoting the sport across the country. Established by Indian tennis player Mahesh Bhupathi, the league featured a unique format that included franchise-based teams competing in a series of short, high-energy matches, designed to appeal to a broader audience. The league ran from November 17 to December 2, 2015, and consisted of six teams representing various cities. The Punjab Marshalls emerged as champions, defeating the Bangalore Raptors in the final match. The CTL was notable for its innovative approach to tennis, blending entertainment with competitive play, and attracted both national and international players.
