2009–10 Vijay Hazare Trophy
The 2009–10 Vijay Hazare Trophy was the third edition of India's premier domestic List A cricket tournament, named in honor of the legendary cricketer Vijay Hazare. Organized by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), the tournament took place from 8 December 2009 to 27 January 2010. It featured state teams from across the country competing in a knockout format, showcasing emerging talents and experienced players. The tournament was significant for promoting one-day cricket in India and offered teams a platform to establish their prowess in the limited-overs format. A key highlight was the performance of the Karnataka team, which claimed the title for the second consecutive year, further solidifying its dominance in domestic cricket.
