2017–18 Zonal T20 League
The 2017–18 Zonal T20 League, also known as the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, was the inaugural edition of the zonal T20 cricket tournament conducted by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). Featuring state teams from five geographical zones—North, South, East, West, and Central—the tournament took place from January 10 to January 21, 2018. The league served as a platform for players to showcase their talent and form ahead of the domestic T20 season. Each zone comprised several teams competing in a round-robin format, culminating in knockout stages. This event aimed to enhance competitive opportunities and support the growth of T20 cricket within the country, promoting both established and emerging cricketers.
