2017–18 Vijay Hazare Trophy
The 2017–18 Vijay Hazare Trophy was the 16th season of the premier List A cricket tournament in India, organized by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). Taking place from February 5 to March 23, 2018, the tournament featured 37 teams divided into four groups, competing in a round-robin format leading to knockout stages. This season was notable for its introduction of a revised format, allowing teams to showcase both emerging and established talent on a national platform. Nearly 300 matches were conducted across various venues in India, culminating in an intense final held at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore. A total of 18 states participated, with Tamil Nadu claiming the championship title, marking their second victory in the tournament's history.
