2011–12 I-League

The 2011–12 I-League was the fifth season of India's premier professional football league since its inception in 2007. Organized by the All India Football Federation (AIFF), the league featured 14 teams, including ten teams from the previous season and four new entrants, which were promoted from the 2010–11 I-League 2nd Division. The season commenced on 9 December 2011 and concluded on 19 May 2012. Kalyani Municipal Corporation Stadium served as one of the key venues. Defending champions Salgaocar SC successfully retained their title, finishing at the top of the league table. The season was marked by competitive matches, emerging local talent, and heightened interest in Indian football.
